I originally was looking for a top notch Christmas gift for my brother because he works in corrections and think a bulletproof or stand and slash resistant vest would be standard issue to guards but no. Anyways I ended up buying myself one too both were the .44 magnum capability sizes large and xl both fit and were extremely comfortable. The customer service is what every company in America should strive to provide I will say I’m kind of a moron and have zero law enforcement experience and didn’t know the law for my state being face to face (make sure you read their terms page before ordering to reduce a mild headache) but let me tell you these guys respond and I ordered at the dumbest possible time and forgot to use a discount and free backpack code but yeah they took care of me so 10/10 from me.
Love the quality but the protection stops at my belly button. I feel like 3 to 4 more inches would do a much better job protecting my torso. - - BPE Response: This is a common note. If the armor were any lower, it would push up into your throat when bending over or sitting down. It also makes CC much more difficult to draw. You won't find any company that makes armor that goes past the navel without being completely custom.
I haven't gotten it yet because I just ordered yesterday. But I placed it over the phone at TWO AM. If the hoodie is as good as the people I will definitely be buying that shirt to go with it.

It's surprisingly comfortable for what it is. glad it arrived so quickly too. I got the operator too for summer.
I am 5'4" about 157lbs and a medium fits me perfectly. I choose the lighter weight panels and the the pullover is comfortable and the panels in the blue color just blend in. Over an excellent item.
