I can’t give it a 5 star review yet because I honestly don’t know if it works as advertised. The flexible plates feel very sturdy and well made, so I’m almost confident it’ll do the job. The hoodie itself seems well made,. I would suggest buying a bigger size because the plates make the hoodie feel very tight against your body, but I guess that what you really should want. It depends how you want it to feel. It arrived in like 2 weeks after purchase so I guess that is ok. Overall I’m happy with the purchase at this time. Will probably order a few more items in the future.

Bought it purely out of want. The hoodie is nice and soft, while the armor is unrestrictive - it feels like a 5lb weight vest, so not unnoticable, but not uncomfortable. Dinging one star due to the stitching on the left sleeve armpit splitting down the sleeve, which I noticed after the 3rd wearing (not washed, light use). It's an easy enough fix that I'm just going to fix it, but I can't tell if it's from figuring out how to put it on (like a turtle) or if messed up a stitch. Arrived pretty quick and is pretty comfortable for body armor. Lighter than my leather jacket.

Just received my urban. Feels comfortable, not too bulky, I am 5'11, 175, went with medium, fits nicely. Would just add the following as an FYI. On the "replacement clothing" tab, it says "armor is interchangeable. purchase more colors or styles here." It then lists the construct, sherpa, sport, freedom, stinger, urban and huntsman. My impression was, since the armor was interchangeable, you could order one item with armor, then any other item without, and simply change the armor. That's not true. The armor for the pullover is different and not interchangeable with the armor for the zip ups. If you look at the bundles, it says "all pullovers items have interchangeable armor. this includes..." It says the same on the zip up bundle, "all jackets and vests have interchangeable armor. This includes..." My only issue is that the replacement clothing tab should clearly state that not all armor is interchangeable. Had i known the urban and construct had different armor from the sherpa, i might have ordered differently. Just be aware.
