This jacket is well made and fits perfectly. Very discrete, no one will ever know you have on a ballistic jacket. Worth every penny and more.
I have always wanted some low-key armor. My plate carrier is a bit much for civilian use. This jacket is perfect. Being 6’4 260lb, fit is always an issue. It fits great. I love the overlap of the two front Kevlar flaps right down center mass. Of course, not tested its ballistic qualities as of now, hope I never will but I trust these guys have. Super happy.
Bulletproof jackets like this often sell for $800 or more. This is a nice jacket for less than half that amount. The panels were fairly stiff at first, but after wearing it for a week or two they have loosened up and are now quite comfortable.
One unique aspect of the design is that the front panels overlap for better protection. It's a good design, but it causes the panels to tilt up in the front by half an inch or an inch. So, the panels reach lower on the sides than in the front when it's zipped up. That makes it more comfortable when I'm sitting in my car, but it also provides less protection when I'm standing up.
5 stars. I bought the IIIA level protection. The jacket itself is excellent quality and the fit is exact according to the sizing guide so be sure to take accurate measurements. I requested the sleeves extended and they're spot on. With the extra protection it's warm to wear so keep that in mind.
In IIIA: The weight of the panels is so well distributed you don't feel the extra once it's on, it is very comfortable to wear. The front panels are seamless at the shoulders. The back panel creates a flat back with a bit of an outline but doesn't protrude and isn't noticeable from the sides. Someone standing directly behind you in line might notice but walking down the street it's a non-issue. Rolling the panels as per the instructions is important, as well as the recommended 30 hours active wear. The jacket fits well under an overcoat and with the proper coat/vest the protection is very discreet.
I'll be buying a IIA rated one for the warmer months soon and if you're on the fence and that's what I'd recommend. It's an incredible product and I highly recommend it.
I've been wearing my jacket for the past couple weeks now. It's a lot lighter than I thought it would be, and as I'm breaking it in, I'm liking it more and more. You really can't see the panels when walking around and doing regular activity, and when it's cold, they provide an additional layer of insulation. I'm glad I got it!
It is what I expected, great quality and good design!
Love the product, fits as expected- they were right on with their fitment guide. I think it is a really good value. Order time to delivery time was a but slow, but with the way things are, I guess it is to be expected. I highly recommend.
The more I wear this jacket the more comfortable it gets. Zippers are excellent, fit is excellent and it looks great! And it's warm!!
Absolutely perfect! great fit, Very comfortable!!
